"Sangría" es un espectáculo inédito en el que el artista, Érika Ordosgoitti, crea una imagen en directo a través de la extracción de la sangre.

La actuación será seguida por la proyección de: "DESAFÍO AL PODER" (Power Challenge), una selección de vídeos de artistas de desempeño de América Latina, cuya tela de juicio los sistemas de poder trabajar.

Organizada en 2015 por la Plataforma P3 Rendimiento párrafo (Erika Ordosgoitti y Carlos Salazar Clermont) en Caracas, Venezuela.

"La libertad es mi compromiso con la vida. Es el valor más importante que me mueve. Yo camino hacia la libertad sabiendo que el valor absoluto no existe y nunca se logrará. Mis acciones son libres, es sólo a través de ellos que puedo lograr mis propia libertad. La libertad no existe, sólo hay acciones libres de las personas que con el tiempo pueden llegar a ser libre.

Hay un instante de absoluta libertad. Este es el evento artístico: el rendimiento. Que microsegundo y luego las consecuencias delicadas que hacen erupción de la realidad. Un gesto simple, pequeño, sin embargo, dudoso, puede transformar todo. La realidad puede ser delicado y terrible al mismo tiempo ".

Erika Ordosgoitti

(1980) vive y trabaja entre Caracas y Bogotá. Es licenciada en Bellas Artes Mención de papeles mezclados en la Escuela Armando Reverón Educación Superior de Bellas Artes de Caracas (IUESAPAR). Actualmente desarrolla su tesis "El estatus ontológico del arte" para el grado de Maestría en Artes de la Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (UPEL).

Ella se ha concedido varios premios, entre ellos: Premio Joven Artista, Fundación MISOL de las Artes, Bogotá (2014); Primera Mención de Honor, Salón SuperCable de Jóvenes con FIA, Caracas (2011); mención de honor, 34 Salón Nacional de Arte Aragua, Maracay (2009); Premio de la Universidad, Primera Exposición Nacional de Arte de la Universidad, Caracas (2009). Su obra ha sido expuesta en el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Caracas, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Bogotá, y en muchas galerías privadas. Es co-productor y co-curador de la Bienal Internacional de Performance de Caracas, CEO de P3 Plataforma de Arte de Acción y director de El Avispero residencia artística en Venezuela.

"Sangría" is an inedit performance where the artist, Érika Ordosgoitti, creates a live image through the extraction of her blood.

The performance will be followed by the screening of: "DESAFÍO AL PODER" (Power Challenge), a selection of videos by performance artists from Latin America, whose work question the systems of power.

"Freedom is my commitment to life. It is the most important value that moves me. I walk towards freedom knowing that absolute value does not exist and will never be achieved. My actions are free, it is only through them that I can achieve my own freedom. Freedom does not exist, there are only free actions from people that can eventually become free.

There is an instant of absolute freedom. This is the artistic event: the performance. That microsecond and then the delicate consequences that erupt from reality. A simple gesture, small, yet doubtful, can transform everything. Reality can be delicate and terrible at the same time."

ÉRIKA ORDOSGOITTI

(1980) lives and works between Caracas and Bogota. She has a degree in Fine Arts Mixed Media Mention from Armando Reveron Higher Education School of Fine Arts in Caracas (IUESAPAR). Currently she develops her thesis "The Ontological Status of Art" for the degree of Master of Arts Pedagogical University Experimental Libertador (UPEL).

She has been granted several awards including: Young Artist Award, MISOL Foundation for the Arts, Bogota (2014); First Honorable Mention, Salón SuperCable de Jóvenes con fia, Caracas (2011); Honorable mention, 34 Salón Nacional de Arte Aragua, Maracay (2009); University Award, First National Exhibition of Art University, Caracas (2009). Her work has been exhibited at Museum of Contemporary Art Caracas, Museum of Contemporary Art of Bogota, and in many private galleries. She is co-producer and co-curator of the International Biennial of Performance of Caracas, CEO of P3 Platform Performance Art and director of El Avispero Artist Residency in Venezuela.
